Samvel Karapetyan, president of the Tashir Group, was included in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index for the first time in his career, joining the league of 500 wealthiest people on the planet. He is ranked 394th with a fortune estimated at $4.36 billion at the moment of publication of the rating 06.03.17.
The list is topped by Microsoft founder Bill Gates with a fortune of $85.6 billion. The top three also includes investor Warren Buffett with $78.9 billion and telecom magnate Carlos Slim with a fortune of $53 billion.
In 2016, Samvel Karapetyan was ranked 549th out of 1810 richest people in the world by Forbes.
