RIO Opening in Vologda

A new RIO Mall opening in Vologda has been announced by Tashir Group. The new facility with over 50,000 sq.m. GBA will be the 17th operating mall in Tashir’s portfolio and the 11th project in the federal RIO chain. Tashir, as usual, was the single executor of all project realization stages. The Group’s investments totaled 75 million USD.

RIO shopping and entertainment centre is located at the crossing of Okruzhnoe Highway, Gagarina Street and the key artery of the city, Leningradskaya Street. A residential district has recently been built nearby, with a cottage village still in construction. RIO surroundings bring traffic of over 20,000 cars per day, and 13 routes of public transport stop here. The perfect location helps to attract guests of Vologda and Vologda region as well as other nearby areas. To serve the guests well, a 750 car parking lot has been installed.

RIO’s anchors include Nash Gipermarket food hypermarket, Nash Dom household goods hypermarket, Eldorado home electronic appliances supermarket, Cinema Star and a kids’ entertainment centre.
The shopping gallery tenants feature stores by leading international and federal retail operators, e.g. New Yorker, Incity, O’stin, adidas, Reebok, Reserved, Centro, Sela, Savage, Snezhnaya Koroleva, Intersport, Gloria Jeans, L’Etoile, Zolla and many more.

The entertainment component includes three-hall Cinema Star multiplex, kids’ entertainment centre, bowling and billiards, four-concept food court and cafes.
