Tashir Group named the Developer of the Year in 2013

The 10th anniversary award ceremony organised by the Russian Council of Shopping Centres was held to honour the leaders of retail property in 2013. The event attracted representatives of leading Russian and international companies operating in the areas of property development, management, consulting, and architecture. Tashir Group received two awards – 'Developer of the Year' and, in the super-regional category, the 'Best Operating Shopping Centre' for the RIO Centre on Dmitrovskoye shosse.  

Such recognition of the professional community is the highest award for our work that, as of today, has produced 26 operating shopping centres across Russia, all of which owned by the Tashir Group.
RIO Shopping Centre on Dmitrovskoye shosse opened in December 2008. Currently, it is one of the top five largest multifunctional shopping centres in the capital. In addition to its retail space, RIO also includes a wide range of entertainment: the only oceanarium in Moscow, an eight-screen Cinema Star multicomplex, an 8-lane bowling alley, a play-centre, a 9-stall food court, and 9 restaurants. Within the last eighteen months, the RIO Shopping Centre was reconceptualised and now welcomes around 75 new tenants.
