RIO in Reutov Opened

A new RIO Mall opening—this time in Reutov near Moscow—has been announced by Tashir Group. The new RIO with the GBA of over 175K sq m will become the 13th operating mall in Tashir’s portfolio and the 7th one within RIO network. The Group invested a total of 100M USD in the project.

RIO shopping and entertainment centre is located at the outer side of Moscow Ring Road (2 km), close to the Reutov exit and to federal roads Nosovikhinskoe Highway and Entuziastov Highway. The mall’s location makes it easily accessible from Moscow districts to include Novokosino, Novogireyevo, Perovo, and Vikhino as well as from satellite cities like Reutov, Zheleznodorozhny, and Balashikha. That said, a total of over 2,235,000 people reside in the mall’s catchment area.

To keep the guests comfortable, free shuttles travel to RIO from Novogireyevo and Vikhino metro stations. For those who prefer to arrive by car, two parking lots have been added, an aboveground lot for 550 cars and a roofed seven-level parkade for 1,500 cars.

RIO’s anchors include NASH food hypermarket, Nash Dom household goods hypermarket, six-hall Cinema Star multiplex, Eldorado home electronic appliances supermarket, Mebelny Tsentr furniture store, and Open Fitness club. The shopping gallery tenants include leading international and Russian brands e.g. Zara, River Island, Snezhnaya Koroleva, O'stin, Incity, Ecco, Carlo Pazolini, Sportmaster, and many more.
The entertainment zone, beside Cinema Star, includes kids’ play centre PlayLab, bowling alley, billiards, a vast food court, cafés and restaurants.
