Tashir Group is investing about 260 million rubles in restoration of Aragvi, the legendary restaurant and part of Russian capital’s culture heritage. Restoration works are currently in process with opening scheduled for December, 2013.

Tashir Group has started reconcepting its RIO Mall located in Moscow at 10 Sevastopolsky Avenue. Until end of 2013, about 30 to 40 per cent of tenants will change and the mall interiors will be improved.

The annual CRE St. Petersburg & Federal Awards 2013 – the most highly anticipated event for commercial real estate in Russia – focused on honouring the best property meeting contemporary standards of development. RIO Shopping Centre in St Petersburg, owned by Tashir Group, was named the best shopping centre within the Mid-Range category.

This June 21, a new RIO shopping and entertainment centre was commissioned at 109 Leninsky Avenue, Moscow. With 75K sq m GBA, the official opening is scheduled for late August, 2013. Tashir Group is the project investor and consultant.

The 10th anniversary award ceremony organised by the Russian Council of Shopping Centres was held to honour the leaders of retail property in 2013. The event attracted representatives of leading Russian and international companies operating in the areas of property development, management, consulting, and architecture.

On May 18th, the 7th Tashir-2013 National Music Awards for outstanding contributions to Armenian musical culture were successfully held at the State Kremlin Palace. The grand ceremony was transmitted live on Armenia TV (public television channel) for all citizens to view. All proceeds from ticket sales went to charity.

Tashir Group has signed a contract with McDonald's to open a 420 sq m restaurant in Tambov’s RIO Mall.

On December 1, 2012, a new RIO was ceremoniously opened in Nizhny Novgorod. The new RIO with 100,000 sq.m. GBA presented over 137 shops within its shopping gallery and became the city’s first retail complex to gather all entertainment types together.
