Tashir Group announces the opening of an exotarium of exotic species in the RIO shopping centre on Dmitrovskoye highway. This is the only shopping centre to house an exotarium in Russia: its main feature is the opportunity to meet the animals, many of which have not been seen before in any of the country's zoos.

According to Kommersant, INFOLine Developer Russia TOP-100 ranked Tashir Group as an absolute leader in retail space commissioning. In 2013, Tashir Group commissioned five shopping centres with the GBA of about 260K sq m.

February 20th, Sochi: Tashir takes part in constructing infrastructure for the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi-2014. Tashir Group supplied the engineering infrastructure for the reconstructed Sochi marine port and completed construction of the new marine terminal and the Grand Marina that includes an exhibition hall and a shopping arcade.

As of January 1st 2014, FORA-BANK (Joint-Stock Commercial Bank) occupies the 113th position on the Bankir.ru Rating that is based on net assets of all Russian banks. This is a positive dynamic in comparison to its 115th place at the end of 2012.

On 14 February 2014, Tashir Group eagerly opened a RIO shopping centre in Kostroma. The opening event attracted approximately 20,000 local residents.

Forbes magazine has published its annual rating of Russia’s largest commercial real estate owners. Samvel Karapetyan, President of Tashir Group, was ranked second in the list of the most significant rentiers.

Tashir Group will construct a multifunctional complex on the site of one of the most famous stalled construction projects in Moscow - the Aminyevskoye highway sports centre. Tashir's multifunctional complex with a total area of about 125,000 square metres includes retail, office space, and apartments.

The year of 2013 has seen multiple Tashir projects successfully implemented in all areas of its versatile activity, the major ones remaining: construction, development, energy engineering, finances and retail. The total investment amounted to $910 million.

Tashir Group continues to expand its regional presence with a new RIO Shopping Centre just opened in Kostroma, the 19th of the chain. The new conceptual RIO is located at the main thoroughfare of the city and consists of both retail units and entertainment areas. The total amount of Tashir investment was about USD 80 mln.

December 5 to 7, Moscow Manege Hall hosted the III Moscow Urban Forum “Megacities— development beyond the centre”. The largest international conference on urbanism and town planning was held under the aegis of the Moscow Government to gather leaders of Russia’s as well as global cities and international experts.
