This October 28, the first-ever Aquarium in Moscow opened within RIO Mall at Dmitrovskoe Highway. The unique project to introduce malls to a new format of entertainment features over 10,000 inhabitants.

This July 8, Yaroslavl saw a grand opening of a new RIO Mall in Tutaevskoe Highway. The 64,000 sq.m. GBA mall features 140 stores within its shopping gallery, not to mention the variety of entertainments. RIO project was financed, developed, constructed and consulted by Tashir Group. Tashir will also manage and maintain the object.

A new RIO Mall opening—this time in Tula—has been announced by Tashir Group. The new shopping and entertainment centre, part of the federal RIO network, with the GBA of 25 sq m combines a shopping gallery with many stores by the largest international and federal brands as well as a wealth of entertainment options.

A new RIO Mall opening—this time in Reutov near Moscow—has been announced by Tashir Group. The new RIO with the GBA of over 175K sq m will become the 13th operating mall in Tashir’s portfolio and the 7th one within RIO network. The Group invested a total of 100M USD in the project.

Tashir Group has announced commissioning of its four-star SK Royal Hotel in Moscow. Tashir was the sole developer of the 25-storey building that it will also manage. Project investments totaled USD 50 mln.

On November 21, the first Comedy Cafe opened in Moscow at the RIO mega-mall on Dmitriyevskoye shosse. Investments into this new joint project by Tashir Group and Comedy Club Productions amounted to $US1 million.

Forbes Magazine has published its annual line-up of the largest owners of commercial real estate in Russia. Tashir Group with USD 130 mln revenue, twice more than last year, has risen four places to the 8th position from the top.

On July 4, 2009, Tashir Group proudly opened its Kwan Ski Resort in Kaluga. The symbolic red ribbon was cut by Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of Kaluga region; Nikolay Lyubimov, Head of Kaluga; and Samvel Karapetyan, President of Tashir Group.
